This farmhouse is situated on the iconic Jack Nicklaus Signature Gold course in Paarl, Cape Town. This house may lie in the heart of Paarl but there is very little about its interiors that gives away its Winelands location.The client requested a soothing palette of dusky hues ripple through this bathroom, bringing a spa-like tranquility in their wake. In the rest of the living spaces, bright colour pops are evident which speak to the flora and fauna surroundings.
To move beyond the expected Winelands aesthetic and create something more contemporary and globally inspired, a home that felt grounded in its setting but distinctly individual, layered with personality and quiet confidence.
We drew from the surrounding landscape, the flora, the light, the natural tones of the Winelands, and reinterpreted them through a more contemporary lens. A calming palette anchors the private spaces while the living areas introduce colour with restraint and intention. The result is a home that feels refined, personal, and quietly expressive.
